Thank goodness for a rainy weekend

This past weekend I converted from Salesforce to Zoho CRM. Oh my - not for the faint of heart!

It's pretty amazing that I can remember so many details about the people I meet .... except for their name when I see them face-to-face!

Thank goodness it was rainy most of the weekend and sunshine wasn't a bit distraction.

Here are some hints on keeping your database up-to-date:

• Have a folder in your inbox where you can put address changes. On a rainy day, great project.
• Consider having two email fields - business and personal. For example, I get most of my newsletters delivered to my Gmail account.
• Birthday field - I use this to remember the date I first met the person.

Many, many thanks to all who responded to my call for help looking for a new CRM system. I like Salesforce and it was hard to leave but given the economy is strained I wanted to find ways to save money. Thanks again!
